Marta Gomez

Tasha and Marta met 5 years ago in the UK at University of Exeter. They became close doing research in Kenya, Africa, and on a Eurotrip they did together upon completion of their MSc degrees.  Over the years, they have managed to stay in touch despite Marta living in Spain. 

Sarah LANE

Tasha and Sarah met 5 years ago in the UK at University of Exeter. They became close doing research in Kenya, Africa, where they partnered on a project looking at group dynamics in greater flamingos.  The project earned them the affectionate nickname: "The Flamingo Girls."  Over the years, they have managed to stay in touch despite Sarah living in the UK. 

tIFFANY BOURG

Tasha and Tiffany met 19 years ago on the school bus home from 4th grade. Tasha spent more time at Tiffany's house than her own most days growing up. They bonded over Mario Kart and Golden Eye on the Nintendo 64, as well as, climbing Tiffany's grandmother's fig tree to hang out on the roof.

Jason Thompson

Sammy and Jason met in third grade on the playground, and he hasn't been able to get rid of him since.  Jason grew up with Sammy and might as well have been a third brother. 

Kurt gehl

Sammy and Kurt met during the LAN party days of college. They bonded over their love of video games and many a raid night in World of Warcraft.

Jason williams

Sammy and Jason met in animal physiology in college.  The class was so slow that you could literally highlight along in the book with what the professor was reading.  We spent this downtime bonding over video games and everything nerdy.

Sammy and Jonathan met during the LAN party days of undergrad.  For the first year or so, Sammy only knew him as Wendal, the magical man that could fix any LAN party problem.

Tristan gilley

Tristan is the Officiant for the wedding ceremony. 

Tristan and Sammy met in high school and have been friends ever since. 

william miller

William is the opening speaker in the wedding, and will represent Tasha's family in the handfasting ceremony.

Tasha and William are brother and sister. William was a typical older brother, but they have grown close as adults.  They generally bond over action movies, fighting games, and superheroes.  Tasha is godmother to William's youngest daughter Jolie. 

ramsey hamdan

Ramsey is the second speaker in the wedding, and will represent Sammy's family in the handfasting ceremony.

Sammy and Ramsey are brothers who bonded over video games and Star Wars.  Ramsey is the only immediate family member to fly to California and visit Sammy and Tasha.

Christopher grace

Christopher is the ceremony musician. 

Tasha and Christopher are sister and brother. With the age difference, Tasha was always more of a babysitter for Christopher, but they have recently bonded over their passion for video games. 

jolie miller

Jolie is the ring bearer in the wedding ceremony.

Jolie is Tasha's youngest niece, and will bring all the adorableness to the ceremony. Tasha is Jolie's godmother. Jolie is nearly 2 years old.
